NW is not very Smart

Just Added an employee at Nationwide Insurance who is a also a current Franklin student has been stealing my programs. I took the class which he is now taking(the Operating Systems) course about a year ago. It is extremely hard, so since I guess I am not good enough for NW and he is, I see no need to continue sharing certain Java and C++ programs right now. If you need to see any of my code and you are an employer, please drop me a line, I have no problems with sharing my code, but not to someone else can get my position. Because I can hack better than him, I do have his name, address, email, and phone numbers if you need them!

I had my new Employer Orientation about a week and a half back and I found out NW was back at it again! Sitting at my table was a new employee, like me, that was in Columbus for the new Employee Orientation. It just so happens that he got a job in Cincinnati, but grew up here in Columbus. He was a bit upset that he has to move to Cincy, considering his roots are here, as well as owning a house.
After the day progressed, we got to talking, I told him how I came to the government position, as he did the same. Of course I told him of my NW experience, and as a coincidence he said that he had worked there for some 5+ years. Unfortunately, they laid him off, but the good news is that on a couple of occasions they brought him back in as a Consultant.
Who the heck are those people at NW? Supposedly, NW is on your side, but they are not on my side or anyone else who has worked there!
So as the day progressed, it was time to sign up for Deferred Compensation; Deferred Compensation is not a pension but more like a 401k. Though if you work with the State Government for 5+ years you do get a pension, the Deferred Compensation is just your individual investments. And guess what, the person who was presiding over the issue and helping us make the decisions was from NW. So it seems like they just get rid of their employees, so we will get stuck using their investment tools in the process.
My philosophy is to boycott anyone or any entity that has done me wrong, ala Joe DiMaggio. Though it appears I am stuck with NW though as long as I live I will never have many nice things to say about them; I mean really, who the heck do they think they are?
No NW I don't want to be a Consultant

The gall of that place, they just bring people in and let them go. I interviewed there again! Can't figure how someone would want to work for a short period of time, then be laid off, then be rehired? All I know is that the NW nonsense maybe over for me, I was accepted for a new position at the State of Ohio as a Database Analyst and should start on Feb. 14, 2005. Still holding my breathe until after lunch time of my first day!
Found out something about Them!

I saw a fellow Consultant that I knew from Nationwide, he is now over at BankOne/Chase; we were from the same small consulting company and sit close to each other. But the brunt of the story is that he was told that NW found someone internally to take over for me so they could save a few hundred bucks a week; eventhough the PM at NW was thankful of my good performance and getting the project reqs. done properly. And I have to thank them for replacing me, only cost me about 15k. Thanks, NW!
